| “Pacific
Plaza truly embodies
the primary concept of redevelopment.
It is a successful
project that eliminated
blight and revitalized
the neighborhood.” |
-
Terry Sedik, Daly City
Director of Economic and Community
Development

The Daly City Redevelopment Agency, in partnership with Summit Commercial /Mack-Cali
Realty, provided the vision behind the 10-acre project. This site fronting Interstate
280 had been vacant since 1971, however the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Daly City saw it as its front door and centerpiece of the community. Adjacent
to a BART station, Pacific Plaza is an excellent example of a mass transit oriented
redevelopment project. |
